Where can I buy a mobile phone in Sweden?

There are of course loads of places to buy a mobile phone. For instance when you start a mobile phone plan you can usually combine it with a 24 month contract and monthly payments for a phone. It can be nice not to have to cough up the entire cost for the phone at once but just make sure that you check the final cost before you buy.

Great second hand options for phones and tablets in Sweden

We also want to do a shout out for second hand options. Second hand mobile phones and iPads can be found  at a fraction of the cost of a new one, and they tend to be in very good condition. And you usually get the same warranties and customer service as if you were buying new. So do a little something for the environment AND your wallet and check out second hand options such as:

  • All used mobile phones are thoroughly tested by experts.
They offer one of the widest ranges of used mobile phones and tablets on the market.
  • You get 6 months warranty for spare parts and used units and 12 months for new goods.
  • All used devices are unlocked and ready for any subscription.
  • Used Apple products properly tested by Apple experts.
  • Huge variety of products.
  • 12 months warranty.
  • Purchase sent the same day if you order before noon and sent the day after if you order in the afternoon.
  • Free shipping.

Make sure you have the best contract

A hot tip if you already have a phone contract, is to sign up to Påmind*. This is a free service that keeps track of a lot of different types of contracts and negotiates better prices. Types of contracts they handle are mobile subscriptions, electricity contracts, mortgages, car insurance, broadband, home insurance, private loans. According to Påmind, their users save an average of 2000 sek per year. So definitely worth a try.

Happy cellphone plan hunting!

  1. Veronika? Question… I have an Italian SIM and need a Swedish number… so it’d be great to have a Swedish number I can “port” to my Swedish SIM. Any ideas on which provider would work?
